UMBC copyright issues[edit]

Thanks for keeping an eye on possible copyvios on the UMBC article. We still need some sort of confirmation from Legazy if he wants to add more material that is potentially a copyvio; I see you've addressed this. Keep up the good work! - Gauge 17:37, 12 May 2005 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I added a little to your article. Anything you can add would be appreciated. -- DS1953 04:24, 16 December 2005 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Looking for articles to work on?[edit]

Hello, Jussenadv. I'm SuggestBot, a Wikipedia bot that helps new members contribute to Wikipedia. Based on your previous edits, I have made a list of articles you might like to work on. I hope you find this useful. -- SuggestBot 02:02, 13 January 2006 (UTC)Reply[reply]

talk pages are a free for all. additionally, the UMBC joke is well known in that region and may deserve to be on the main page. WillC 11:52, 9 February 2006 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I see it has been a while since you had some activity as well, haha. Reverting edits is just a relaxing (most times) and useful thing to do while I read for school. So thanks. 2help 06:03, 5 December 2006 (UTC)Reply[reply]

May 2007[edit]

The recent edit you made to Jorge Batista constitutes vandalism, and has been reverted. Please do not continue to vandalize pages; use the sandbox for testing. Thanks – Gurch 15:59, 1 May 2007 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Please do not vandalize pages, as you did with this edit to User talk:Mathiastck. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing – Gurch 16:01, 1 May 2007 (UTC)Reply[reply]

This is your last warning. You will be blocked from editing the next time you vandalize a page, as you did with this edit to Jorge Batista. – Gurch 16:02, 1 May 2007 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Drat forgot to sign. You blanked my talk page and asked if I don't like K's? Mathiastck 23:43, 1 May 2007 (UTC)Reply[reply]

You've either gone nuts, or your account has been compromised, so the account has been blocked indefinitely. If you'd like to contest this block, use {{unblock|reason}}. --Wafulz 16:12, 1 May 2007 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I choose to be blocked as long as Galic is not enforced. Huzzah!
I know this Galic of which you speak. 17:38, 7 May 2007 (UTC)Reply[reply]

File permission problem with File:Cover Page.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Cover Page.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Kelly hi! 17:50, 3 December 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]

The file File:TerrapistLogo.gif has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unused logo with no article used, it's also can't move to commons because of an unused logo will be deleted as of out of project scope.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
